Scotty Emerick

Scotty Emerick

Scotty Emerick has already made a huge impact on the world of country music. He has written several of Toby Keith’s number one hits including “I’m Just Talkin’ about Tonight”, “I Love this Bar” and the Willie Nelson duet, “Beer for My Horses”. Scotty has also written songs for Sawyer Brown, George Strait and several other artists. His debut album, “The Coast Is Clear”, was issued in 2003 and produced two of his four chart singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts. Scotty has written 19 of the 24 songs on Toby Keith's last two platinum award winning albums and he has toured Iraq several times performing for our troops. Scotty won the 2004 Songwriter of the Year award from the Nashville Songwriters Association International and earned two Grammy nominations for the Willie Nelson/Toby Keith duet, “Beer for My Horses”. “I eat, sleep, and drink music,” Scotty says. “I’m always gonna do it, no matter what happens.” .
